Our Mission:
We believe that the purpose of the Idaho City Christian Center is to bring people into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, grow them into Christ-like maturity, equip them for ministry, and release them into their life mission; all for the glory of God.
Our Vision:
Disciples Making Disciples. We are lifelong followers of Jesus Christ. We follow the Bible, which is His infallible word. We grow in the grace & knowledge of the Lord continually by learning, and equipping ourselves, and sharing with others. We want to live through the lens of the Great Commission, by loving everyone with the love of Christ. We equip and prepare the next generation to do the same, by making disciples, who will make disciples!

Who is Jesus?
Is Jesus Your Lord and Savior?
Jesus is God!
The Bible identifies Jesus as fully God, not just a teach or prophet.
John 1; 1-3, 14 - in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was God and became flesh.
John 10; 30 - “I and the Father are one”
Colossians 2: 9 - All the fullness of deity dwells in Him bodily.
Hebrews 1:8 - The Father calls the Son “God”.
Isaiah 9:6 - The Messiah is called “Mighty God”, everlasting Father
John 14:6 - “I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father except through me.”
Acts 4:12 - There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under Heaven given among me by which we must be saved.
1 Timothy 2:5 - For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Jesus Christ.
Salvation
Since the beginning of humanity, ALL have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. - Roman’s 3:23
No amount of works and “good things” we do, do not give us the right to go to Heaven. Isaiah 64:6 - Our righteousness is like filthy rags. What does this mean? It means is that karma does not exist! There is nothing WE can do that will get you to Heaven.
Christianity is the ONLY religion where you don’t earn your salvation, Jesus pays for it!
Galatians 2:6 - A person is not justified by works of the law, but by faith through Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 2: 8-9 - You are save by His grace alone, through faith, not by your works.
John 3:16-18 - For God so loved the world, he gave His only begotten son that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life… Whoever does NOT believe is condemned already.
This means that we are ALL condemned already, without accepting this free gift that Jesus offers all of us.
Ephesians 1:7 - In Him we have redemption (our sins are paid for!) through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace. (This is the freedom He has given us)
How do I get to Heaven? Through faith alone in Christ alone, YOU ARE SAVED!
Roman’s 10:9 - That is you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead you will be saved!
John 3:16 - …That whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Belief is knowing that Jesus is God and that Jesus is now Lord of your life. When you believe, you are choosing to follow Jesus for the rest of your life.
Jesus is a proven historical figure, a divine man, the son of God, God Himself who came to earth to sacrifice himself for our sins because He loves ALL OF US that much!
WHAT NOW??
Pray: Take a moment wherever you are at RIGHT NOW and talk to God. (This can be said in your own words)
Admit that you have sinned (screwed up, made mistakes, done bad things, aren’t perfect, never will be)
Tell Jesus (God) that “I believe that you came to earth to save me. That You died on a cross and took my punishment and paid the price for EVERYTHING I have done, am doing, and EVERYTHING I will ever do.”
Tell Jesus (God) that “I believe You are God, because you didn’t stay dead. You rose on the third day, just like You said You would.
Tell Jesus (God) that “You are now Lord over my life. And I will follow You for all my days. Amen”
What next?
Get a Bible if you don’t have one! Or download The Bible App. Its free!
Get Baptized as soon as you can!
Acts 8:12 - But WHEN THEY BELIVED, Phillip preaching the good news, concerning the Kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.
Acts 18:8 - “…many of the Corinthians, hearing, believed and were baptized”
Matthew 28:19 - “Therefor go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit”- Jesus says this.
Baptism is NOT a local church initiation. It’s only because Christ says so. It is a public declaration of your faith, an outward sign of an inward change.
Once you get a Bible, start with the Book of John. John was an eye witness to Jesus’ time on earth, and speaks directly to the new believer.
Get Connected! Find a church that preaches and teaches the Bible!
There are no “lone ranger” Christians out there that do well in life.
The Church is not a building. It is the people and kingdom of God!
Romans 12: 4-5 - This describes believers as many members, forming one body in Christ, each belonging to the others. The Church is a family, and the Church is Global!
Hebrews 10: 25 - Lets not avoid meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encourage each other.
